The Appalachian Power Commercial and Industrial Standard Program helps non-residential customers implement standard energy efficiency projects through financial incentives to offset project costs. Rebates are calculated based on $.06/kWh saved annually, and are contingent on the review and acceptance of savings claims. Energy-efficient projects including:
Program incentives are available under the C&I program to include non-residential accounts served on Appalachian Power and American Electric Power’s regulated retail rates. Qualifying projects must be installed in a facility in Appalachian Power or American Electric Power’s WV electric service territory. These incentives are available to all non-residential customers who pay into the Energy Efficiency and Demand Response Cost Recovery rider and receive their electricity from Appalachian Power or American Electric Power in WV. A customer may neither apply for nor receive incentives for the same product, equipment or service from more than one utility. Contact Appalachian Power for additional information on this program.
