Vermont Gas (VGS) offers rebates for commercial customers who install high efficiency equipment in existing buildings. The Commercial Equipment Replacement Program is designed for commercial and industrial customers of VGS who are considering renovating buildings or replacing equipment. The program offers rebates for a variety of energy efficient technologies ranging from steam boilers to commercial ovens, as well as custom incentives for additional technologies. For a complete list of technologies eligible for rebates see the web site provided above.
To receive a rebate, determine if the piece of equipment is eligible and fill out the rebate application form available on the program website. After the equipment is installed, a VGS Energy Services Representative must conduct a site visit to verify equipment efficiency. Equipment must be purchased and installed between January 1, 2015 and December 31, 2015 in order to qualify for a rebate. Rebate forms must be received or postmarked by January 31, 2016.
