The SAVE program is a regional heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) contractor training and certification initiative based on National Comfort Institute principles. This training teaches the skills necessary to determine actual effective efficiency of any functioning HVAC system and includes hands-on demonstrations of how to perform critical HVAC diagnostics.
HVAC SAVE is a utility-sponsored HVAC performance program designed by the Midwest Energy Efficiency Alliance (MEEA) based upon the fundamental building science principle that operating BTU performance is a better measure of efficiency than equipment rated BTU performance.
