Consumers Energy residential electric customers are eligible to apply for a variety of rebates on energy-efficient equipment. Customers must install equipment in the Consumers Energy service area and receive electric service from Consumers Energy for the appliance purchased. Consumers Energy may verify sales transactions and that installed energy-saving measures meet all applicable building codes, zoning laws, local, state, and federal requirements. A contractor’s invoice itemizing the purchased equipment and indicating the type, make, model, price, serial numbers, and date of purchase must accompany each Consumers Energy Incentive Request Form.
