Installation Requirements: | Heating and cooling equipment must be installed by an HVAC dealer registered in Kansas City, Kansas. A BPU Commercial Energy Representative will inspect the site to verify equipment installation before the rebate is issued. |
The Kansas City Board of Public Utilities provides incentives for commercial customers to install, or upgrade to, energy efficiency equipment in new and existing facilities. Rebates are available for electric and dual fuel heat pumps, electric resistance heating systems, and electric water heaters. Rebates can also apply to all-electric apartment units.
