Interstate Power and Light (Alliant Energy) offers residential energy efficiency rebates for Iowa customers for a variety of technologies. Rebates are available for certain HVAC equipment, lighting, and doors. Landlords and renters of multi-family homes can also take advantage of various rebates for energy-efficient equipment in the residential and commercial programs. Equipment must meet efficiency levels specified on the program website.
IPL also offers incentives through the New Home Construction Program. The exact rebate level varies depending on the square footage of the home, and whether or not the home receives heating and/or cooling energy from Alliant Energy-IPL. Bonus rebates reward customers for installing premium-efficiency heating and cooling equipment, clothes washers, refrigerators and lighting. Contact IPL for additional information on these programs.
