The MPower Business New Construction Rebate Program is available to commercial, industrial, or agricultural customers that presently or will receive electric service from MID. Accounts billed on FL or SL rate schedules are not eligible for this program. To be eligible for this program, replacement projects must meet the following requirements: reduce electrical energy usage relative to the baseline, operate for a minimum of 5 years after installation, not be completed prior to submitting an application, and be completed within one year of submitting an application with a minimum rebate amount of $250. Customers should choose the rebate amount formula that gives them the greatest value for kW reduction during peak periods and kWh reduction during the first year. Rebates will be paid in one or two installments depending on the performance period. For further program details and instructions on how to apply, customers should visit the program website.
