China’s Talesun has signed a supply agreement to ship 96 MW of solar PV modules to the ColGreen North Shore solar project in Carolina. ColGreen North Shore LLC last week placed the order with Talesun for its high-efficiency polycrystalline solar modules, with delivery to commence and be completed through January 2017.
The modules will be shipped from Talesun’s Thailand operation, which was opened in November last year to enable the Chinese firm to continue supplying the U.S. solar market with tariff-free modules. The facility has a current capacity of 500 MW, but there are plans to increase that to 800 MW.
“We are proud to have reached another significant milestone through this supply agreement with ColGreen North Shore,” said TaleSun SVP Sheng Hao. “Talesun Solar’s product reliability are reasons why we have been selected as partners for this project.”
