Chinese Jinko Solar Holding Co., Ltd. announced that it is partnering with German TUV Rheinland, provider of technical services for testing, inspection, certification, consultation and training, to develop standardized testing methods for bifacial PV technology. As the convener of the IEC/TC82 solar cell working group, Jin Hao, Vice President of Jinko Solar, has been inviting domestic and foreign experts to discuss about the draft for IEC60904-1-2 bifacial standards and the difficulties of bifacial technology.
According to the company, Jinko Solar has joined a working group organized by TUV Rheinland to develop standardized testing methods for bifacial modules and a draft of the testing method is now released.
