Oursun Guyana, a joint venture of Swiss-based clean energy provider The Meeco Group, has been contracted to install PV systems on 57 roofs of government-owned buildings in Guyana. In May this year, the company had already signed a contract for a 43 kW system on the State House in the country’s capital, Georgetown. The new order has a cumulated volume of 740 kW.
Meeco has also submitted a bid for an extension of the PV system on the State House as well as a 45 kWh hybrid inverter and a 160 kWh energy storage facility.
