Panasonic Eco Solutions of North America has selected Southern California-based Sullivan Solar Power as an Authorized Solar Installer, certified to offer the exclusive HIT photovoltaic module. The module has a 25-year enhanced workmanship and labor warranty with Sullivan Solar Power, covering solar module power output.

Panasonic’s warranty is one of the longest in the industry. The industry standard usually only runs 10 years on workmanship. Panasonic also guarantees 91% of rated power over the 25-year warranty.

Out of over 765 solar companies operating in the San Diego Gas & Electric territory, Sullivan Solar Power was the first solar power design and installation company in San Diego County to receive this warranty from Panasonic, and is one of only four companies in Southern California. Panasonic selected Sullivan Solar Power because of its commitment to ensuring solar power systems perform as promised. For this same reason, Sullivan Solar Power is the only nationally NABCEP-accredited solar company servicing the San Diego and Orange counties. Only seven companies in the United States have achieved this NABCEP company accreditation.

Panasonic’s selection of Sullivan Solar Power to become the first authorized Southern California dealer came just after Sullivan Solar Power’s 13th anniversary and was incorporated into the company’s annual celebratory event this past weekend, Energy Independence Celebration. This event commemorates Sullivan Solar Power Day, which was declared three years ago by the San Diego County Board of Supervisors in recognition of leading the solar energy revolution in San Diego. Part of the event included a show case of the newest solar technology, including the Panasonic HIT solar panel.
