In today’s solar energy news new solar panels hit the market in September 2019. Hanwha Q Cells is going to release new all-black panels called q-peak duo blk-g6. The solar panels will come with a 25-year warranty and are expected to raise the efficiency of solar energy. They will have larger photovoltaic cells that will help the solar panels deliver up to 6% more solar power. The solar panels are being assembled in the facility in Dalton, Georgia.
Google is feeling moonstruck! As part of its celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing, the company has constructed a massive portrait of software pioneer Margaret Hamilton in the Mojave desert using moonlight reflected off of one hundred and seven thousand solar mirrors. The tribute ended with a quote from Hamilton: "There was no choice but to be pioneers."
