BayWa r.e. has signed a two-year O&M service contract for two 5 MW solar farms on behalf of British developer Metka EGN. The facilities, located in Exeter and Swansea in the UK, are the first O&M agreements for BayWa r.e. and Metka EGN. According to the company, they represent »the first step towards a multi-level cooperation between the two businesses.« The contract started at the beginning of 2018. BayWa r.e. now has more than 965 MW under management across solar and wind in the UK.
