For the third fiscal quarter 2017, ended August 31, 8point3 Energy Partners LP, a growth-oriented partnership formed by First Solar, Inc. and Sunpower Corporation to own, operate and acquire solar energy generation projects, reported revenue of $27.7 million (Q3 2016: $26.1 million). Net income was $28.7 million (Q3 2016: $15.8 million), adjusted EBITDA reached $53.5 million and cash available for distribution was $33.2 million.
For the fourth quarter 2017 the company expects revenue of $12.0 million to $15.0 million and net income of $1.5 million to $4.0 million. The partnership is raising its fiscal year 2017 guidance and now expects revenue of $66.5 million to $69.5 million and net income of $32.0 million to $34.5 million.
