US solar cell and module producer Sunpreme Inc. was awarded a Master Supply Agreement by True Green Capital Management LLC (TGC), a distributed energy infrastructure asset management firm, to deliver up to 150 MW of bifacial HCT modules. TGC recently raised its $350 million True Green Capital Fund III, L.P. for which the investment thesis includes US based commercial and industrial solar projects. TGC recently commissioned a 16.5 MW roof top project for the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power of which 10 MW was delivered by Sunpreme.
Furthermore, Sunpreme announced that it has commercially released its HCT-platform based »Maxima HxB-400« product, which incorporates a half-cell design with an anodized frame around the double glass construction. When combined with an optimizer, these modules can be integrated into 30 percent longer strings, a desirable benefit for space-constrained commercial and industrial applications, says the company. The 400 W STC / 1,500 V product carries a 30-year, 0.5 percent per year linear power warrantee. Delivery is planned by the end of this year.
