The office of the Directorate General of Anti-Dumping & Allied Duties (DGAD) India has extended the time to return responses to the anti-dumping investigation on solar imports from China, Taiwan and Malaysia.

According to consultancy Mercom Capital Group, the last day for submission of the required data is September 12, 2017.

Initially, the DGAD’s office had asked exporters of cells and modules to India to furnish details of the exports by the first week of September. Upon receiving requests from many exporters for extension of time to file their response from many exporters and stakeholders the DGAD’s office granted a time extension. Anti-dumping recommendations were expected to be announced around September 22nd, it is unclear how this delay will affect the final timeline, says Mercom. According to the consultancy, Chinese module ASPs meanwhile have risen by almost 12 percent as of August 2017 compared to Q2 2017.
