Turkish energy company Prime Enerji announced it has entered into a partnership with German EPC contractor InTEC Energy Solutions to build two large-scale PV plants in Turkey.
A first 14 MW solar power plant will be built in Denizli, in the southwestern part of Turkey. The two companies will conduct the entire engineering, installation, procurement, electrical and civil works of the project, which is scheduled for completion by the end of this year. The solar facility will be equipped with 52,335 panels and 13 central inverters provided by unnamed manufacturers.
Furthermore, Prime Enerji said it is building a second 11.8 MW project in the north-eastern province of Erzurum with the support of InTEC Energy Solutions, without providing further details.
The two companies are also partnering on the construction of PV plants totaling 4 MW in the Bursa and Balıkesir regions and of a 11 MW solar park in the Sivas province.
InTEC Energy Solutions and Prime Enerji signed a strategic cooperation agreement in May.
