According to a Chinese financial online portal »Yicai«, Suzhou Jinfu Technology Co., a manufacturer of optoelectronic products headquartered in China’s east-coastal Jiangsu province (and formerly known as Jinfu New Material Co., Ltd.), has signed purchase contracts with two photovoltaic companies for a total of CNY 1.58 billion ($237 million) to provide photovoltaic cells and photovoltaic wafers for them, respectively.
Jetion Solar China Co. will purchase photovoltaic cells worth CNY 500 million and Yingli Energy (China) Co., subsidiary of Yingli Solar (International) Holding Co., will buy photovoltaic wafers worth CNY 1.08 billion.
Jinfu Technology, specialized in research and development, manufacture and sale of photovoltaic products, will also cooperate with the two companies throughout the entire photovoltaic industry chain, including research and development of silicon wafers and batteries, and investment in and construction of photovoltaic power plants, says the article. »Yicai« is part of China Business Network (CBN), China's largest financial media group.
