Climate change has caused plant extinctions across the world, being condemned for 46% of the extinction of 976 species studied.  Renewable energy is assisting in the case of plants, but solar is especially advantageous because of minimum difficulties with establishment and operation.

Solar power is a direct response to the global warming which is principally caused by fossil fuels.  The idea is to cut back the use of fossil fuels and give aid to a critically damaged planet, replacing it with renewable fuels.  But what does this mean to the common person?  The technology behind solar panels is available, meaning that solar power can be developed regionally rather than requiring big international tech corporations for massive large-scale solar operations.  This means that local communities gain new skills with renewable energy and can produce a more sustainable area to live in.
