Factors affecting solar panel performance

For panels that have a fixed position without any sun tracking mechanism, they should face a southern direction for better output throughout the year, unless you are in the southern hemisphere, then they should face north. basically they should face the direction that would allow them to get the most direct sunlight throughout the day.

The tilt and angle of the inclination should be in accordance with the matching latitude of the solar project.
 

Shading of solar panels

Even a small part of a shaded panel affects the entire output of the panels to a great extent if they are connected together in a string. If the power used microinverters, then the shading of one panel will not influence the output of the other panels.

Ensure the panels are places such that there is no shadow on them throughout the day. Even a single partially shaded panel affects its output and depending on how you have the system set up, it can affect the output of all the other panels in the system. Also, ensure that there is no dust or debris on the system to avoid shading.
 

The temperature of solar panels

The higher the temperature of the solar panels, the lower the output of the panels. Usually, panels are rated according to standard test conditions (i.e. temperature: 25 degrees Celsius, insolation 1000W/m2, Air Mass: 1.5).nce. if the temperature is higher than this, your panels may give less than rated output.
